Institutional financing agreement

Business acquisition financing in Morocco with CHORAKAE and Al Barid Bank

CHORAKAE and Al Barid Bank have entered into an agreement intended to facilitate access to financing for business acquisitions completed through CHORAKAE. The arrangement helps buyers prepare clearer acquisition files and provides a defined route to the bank when the buyer and transaction may be eligible.

CHORAKAE×
CHORAKAE structures and presents eligible acquisition projects. Al Barid Bank retains full and exclusive authority to approve or decline financing and determine the amount, security requirements and terms.

What the agreement provides

A structured acquisition path

CHORAKAE helps the buyer clarify the project, available equity, target profile and key transaction information before any referral.

A documented transaction

Price, historical performance, working-capital needs, risks and the acquisition plan should be presented consistently and supported by evidence.

An organized bank referral

When a CHORAKAE transaction appears compatible with the arrangement, the file may be referred to Al Barid Bank with the applicant’s consent.

How the process works

Identify an opportunity

The buyer selects a business on CHORAKAE or commissions a confidential search.

Qualify the project

CHORAKAE reviews the project’s overall coherence, budget, expected equity contribution, buyer experience and available transaction information.

Prepare the file

The buyer gathers the requested personal, financial and professional documents and the available information about the target business.

Refer with consent

A potentially eligible file may be referred to Al Barid Bank after the applicant’s explicit consent and with appropriate confidentiality.

Independent bank decision

Al Barid Bank performs its own assessment and decides the amount, terms, security requirements and outcome.

Assess the applicant and transaction under its own rules, request supporting documents and remain the sole decision-maker on approval or refusal, amount, security requirements and financing terms.
